Home sweet home!

We're home!!  We still need to pick Monty up from Tanys' place but we emptied the laundry and food from the camper.  If it's not raining I promised to help mom clean up the rest of the camper tomorrow.

Saskatchewan

Sunny, cloudy, rainy day, we had everything today. Highway in Alberta is pretty rough but twinned all he way. We decided to head for Saskatoon so we could visit Uncle Kent.  So great to see him!!

This is a tr style bridge over the highway after Valleyview AB. As you can see, raining!

Alberta

Really foggy start in BC, and ended the day in Alberta with rain. Stopped in Fort St John, ended up visiting Ken and Marie Johnston from Grenfell in the Walmart parking lot!!!

Driving along beside the clouds, can see blue clouds above them.

Yukon into BC

We had a good morning for seeing wildlife!  A moose loped across the highway, then a buffalo was eating in the ditch, then a black bear and her 2 tiny Cubs were scooting around the ditch.

Stopped at the side of the road for lunch. What a view!

And then......another Buffalo. Mom really likes them.

We stopped to help a family with camper tire troubles and the........a big herd of buffalo!!

We also saw a lynx and sheep close to Muncho Lake.

Travelling in the Yukon

The Yukon is a beautiful place, not many people but lots of hills, mountains, trees, flowers and sand.   We stopped just past Whitehorse for lunch, sat on the shore at the Marsh Lake Damn.  Dad even threw a line in - no fish tho!

We camped on an old road right by the Rancheria River. Extremely beautiful, the river water was so clear.

We are back in Canada, at Kluane Lake in the Yukon.  It's so beautiful here.

Heading Home

We left Lynice this morning. Kris flew to Anchorage and then to northern Alaska really early so we said our goodbyes to him last night. It has been a cool 11 degrees and raining most of the day.

This is us in Kris and Lynice's back yard.

Travelling in the rain.

A little detour just past Gakona.

And another flat tire. Tuesday night in Tok so we can get a new tire!,
