Drove to Homer, which is at the southern tip of the Kenai peninsula. Big harbour there, and lots of tourist shops along a boardwalk on "the Spit", which is a long narrow strip of land that goes out into the ocean. Rained on the way there and back, but beautiful while we were there.

You were fortunate that you had nice weather when you were in Homer. Love that boardwalk...makes me think of an old west movie...there should be horses there!
